There are a variety of electronics projects hosted at Open Circuits, including medical electronics, tiny ' computers' ( aka 'computer component', 'processor module', or 'microcontroller module') that are still powerful enough to run Linux, a scanning tunneling microscope, etc.

Open Circuits wiki runs on the popular MediaWiki software (v.1.15.1) which has been modified with a custom skin. However, the colour-coding of its WikiLinks is confusing – all WikiLinks, both valid and 'wanted' are coloured red. External links still remain blue.
