I'm guessing it is another method of Wiki community building . . . Inquisitor Ehrenstein seems to have the energy to sort this idea. I suppose it is similar to the WikiNode and also to the WikiTourBus . . . but as is apparent, not every wiki has adopted the WikiNode - indeed, many wikis haven't even added text to their 'about' page.
