WikiIndex talk:Categorizing articles

What is wikiindex's prefererred naming of categories ? I'd like to know for two main reasons:

• A) There is now a "Comic" category and a "Comics" category. Possible merge?
• B) Currently the main page (Welcome) shows "Blogging" AND "Weblogs" in the Technology section of "Wiki Topics". And Weblogs category lists "Blogs", "Blog" and "Blogging". I consider Blogging, Weblogs and Blogs to be the same topic and I'd like to merge them. --EarthFurst 11:47, 8 November 2006 (EST)

We do not have a top-down categorization scheme. We have a bottom-up folksonomy. When you identify places that you'd like to tighten-up, please do so. TedErnst | talk 12:05, 8 November 2006 (EST)
