Each article a wiki?

What does this mean in a wiki that each "article" is generally a wiki? MarkDilley | talk

I would understand it to mean, the main content of this wiki is articles which each describe one wiki. Perhaps the official wording could be improved?--69.87.193.65 04:53, 2 February 2007 (PST)

Category: Terms

Where are namespaces here discussed? "The pages in this wiki are mostly about a wiki, wiki people or wiki things." What are the guidelines for adding "wiki thing" articles? There is an apt "category: Terms", but it seems to be unpopulated. It should have articles for (WP):NOR etc. It seems preferable that such infrastructure expansion not be initiated by newcomers...--69.87.193.65 04:53, 2 February 2007 (PST)

Namespaces are detailed at WikiIndex:Namespace conventions. Any 'unpopulated' categories can be tagged with {{PopulateCategory}}. Sean, aka Hoof HeartedAdmin / 'Crattalk2HH 09:07, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

Don't merge

Someone suggested this page be merged into WikiIndex:Add a Wiki. Well? Discuss?

This article should not be merged with "Add a Wiki". That article is already quite complex, as it should be. This one should point most readers over there, and address here all other aspects: creating articles about people, terms, this wiki, namespaces, meta topics.--69.87.193.65 05:04, 2 February 2007 (PST)

I agree with the person above me. Also, these are two completely different topics.Swordman 14:36, 14 July 2011 (PDT)
And I also agree. WikiIndex:Add a Wiki is purely for adding a wiki article, and is pre-loaded with the wiki infobox template. This particular page gives more generic advice on how to create an article on any wiki subject, such as a wiki idea, etc. Sean, aka Hoof HeartedAdmin / 'Crattalk2HH 09:07, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
