Could you sign in, please. I'm surprised at myself how much a difference it makes to be able to attached a person to an edit, in my mind. It really helps the community building process when you sign in! TedErnst | talk 03:36, 26 Jan 2006 (EST)

Can we use nicknames on WikiIndex?

No one's even brought up the question, so until decided otherwise, I'd say yes. The only reason I even ask you to sign in is because I can't see you as a human being behind the IP address. Since this project is so new and not even really open for business yet, if I know who you are, I can feel more assured that your edits are not something I need to pay attention to. And I'm not in charge here. I'm helping out because MarkDilley invited me here. I'm quite sure you're welcome even without signing in, but for all I know, you ARE Mark Dilley. And that doesn't feel very good. Thanks much! TedErnst | talk 19:35, 26 Jan 2006 (EST)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify him/her. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
