WikiFoundry, Inc. was founded in 2013 by Travis Derouin, formerly of wikiHow.com.[1]
In July, 2013, WikiFoundry purchased a collection of wikis from Wetpaint that were known as "Wikis by Wetpaint". It will be the goal of WikiFoundry to continue to develop and innovate on this platform, and support Internet users across the world in their quest to create content.
Since the summer of 2013, we have made a large number of improvements to the platform, such as the reintroduction of mass messaging and wiki creation, numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements. We expect 2014 to be an even more exciting year for the service!
WikiFoundry, Inc. is headquatered in Ancaster, Ontario. The main support wiki is found at WikiFoundryCentral.com. New WikiFoundary wikis can be created directly from create.WikiFoundry.com. All hosted wikis release their content under only one wiki licence – the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike 3.0 License.
