Those who complain are insultingly called trolls though many are clearly unhappy over the skin and are not trolling. The new skin will soon become is now compulsory for all users. It leaves a wide gap on the computer screen Because of this change, many Wikia users have now left, often taking their wiki with wide screens typical of laptops. Wikia’s unwillingness even to allow users to use alternative skins appears incomprehensible. Possibly Wikia hopes the gap will make advertisements stand out more and is catering to advertisers rather than usersthem.
