A stub is a wiki article page which has been deemed as being too short or incomplete. An article (or other namespace page) may be categorised as a stub if there are missing fields from any infoboxes; or more likely, if the articles prose is so short, it fails to adequately and fully describe its subject matter.
Articles are automatically included into category:Stubs (or one of its subcategories) by using the {{stub}} or one of its more specific stub templates on the relevant article page.
