The '''UK LGBT Archive''' (created June {{tag|FoundedIn2011Founded in 2011|2011}} as '''LGBT History UK''' with URI http://lgbthistoryuk.org/wiki/ – and re-launched under its present name December 2015) is an extensive [[wiki]] which aims to build to a comprehensive history of {{tag|Lesbian}}, {{tag|Gay}}, {{tag|Bisexual}} and {{tag|Transgender}} (LGBT) {{tag|people}}, {{tag|places}}, {{tag|organisation}}s and {{tag|events}} in the {{tag|United Kingdom}} ({{tag|England}}, {{tag|Scotland}}, {{tag|Wales}} and {{tag|Ireland|Northern Ireland}}).
It is based on principles similar to [[:Category:Wikipedia|Wikipedia]], but takes a much more relaxed attitude to what is regarded as a "notable" subject for inclusion. Articles are generally written to a very high standard of presentation and content, and contain good references to reliable sources. Furthermore, articles are presented in an extremely well balanced style of prose, maintaining a consistent {{tag|NPOV|neutral point of view}}.
