Basic tasks:

• Visit pages in category: Cleanup
• Wanted categories - add categories with 3 or more links
• WikiIndex:Categorizing articles

Advanced tasks:

• WikiIndex:How do categories work (including Diagram)
• Related categories - needs documentation
  • There seem to be two ways to do this:
    • bulletted list, seperate section - this was Ray's idea
    • inline the way MArk's been doing - this gives some kind of context for each category choice

Interesting. Maybe both are ok. List is simple and clear, but inline gives more context, I agree. So I'd say if you're in a hurry do a list and if you have more time, write something better or convert a list to a more descriptive section. --Raymond King | talk 15:13, 14 May 2006 (EDT)

About the use of some selected Microformats / wikiindex as a particular tag-space for wiki

A first discussion has been opened on Category talk:Microformats about the idea to use "rel-tag" microformat and imagine WikiProject as a particular tag-space for wikis ? Could we talk of that in the #microformats channel ou #wikiindex ? Christophe Ducamp | talk 12:37, 29 June 2006 (EDT)

Mark, I'm sorry I won't be able to join on your happening (work children obligation tonite). Hope we could discuss furthermore, as I'm still a really newbie on the subject. Still experimenting and thinking while translating some interesting pages. Will come back here soon. Let's say I'll be happy if we could open a cross-discussion on MeatBall:MicroFormats. EvanProdromou should surely a strong expert to help ? This page about Sentosa has integrated a lot of hCards and could be a good example for first inspirations. It is intended to connect the various discussions about categories here on WikiIndex that are taking place (or have previously taken place) on various pages. If you find a discussion on categories which does not display this message box, please add this template by copying the following {{Category discussions}}, and pasting at the bottom of the edit box on the required talk page, and then go edit this template to include it, and summarise the discussion you found.
