It is Free software open source software, and is an implementation of the WikiWikiWeb hypertext system. It allows everybody who comes along to edit and create new pages very easily. It is available four interface languages: Wiki EngineGerman, Wiki English, Wiki Spanish, and Wiki Dutch. Although the ErfurtWiki software has not seen any updating since June 2005, it is still available for download from the SourceForgewebsite. Whilst this lack of development may loose favour by some, it is nonetheless a very valuable wiki engine, for a number of important, and unique reasons. One of those is that it can be run on <u>any</u> operating system with PHP support, including Android, and can be easily integrated into any existing website. ErfurtWiki supports virtually all forms of wiki syntax, including unlimited page revision histories. Free links, backlinks, and CamelCase linking is provided as standard, with features such as interwiki, sister wiki, image links, and page s supported by an extensive range of over 200 plugin extensions.WikiMatrix wiki engine features<!--http://WikiEngineURL.org/index.php?title=Special:AncientPages-->
