The LABOR (german word for laboratory) in Bochum, Germany, serves as a place for creating a {{tag|community}: We develop and use free software. We solder, etch, program microcontrollers and tinker antennas – in short, our aim is making new and useful stuff by the creative use of technology.

The LABOR wiki serves the people who visit the LABOR facility, and tells the world about the cool stuff they do.

Primarily in the German language. Many pages are in English ( https://www.das-labor.org/wiki/LABOR_Wiki/en ).

The LABOR wiki hosts the ARM-Crypto-Lib and the AVR-Crypto-Lib communication libraries for microcontrollers. The LABOR wiki hosts the Locodoco project for sophisticated control and feedback of electric model train locomotives, using lots of Atmel AVR microcontrollers.
