"Sage is a free open source mathematics software system licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It combines the power of many existing open source packages into a common Python-based interface.

Mission: Creating a viable free open source alternative to Magma, Maple, Mathematica and Matlab."

The Sage Wiki discusses using Sage, teaching other people to use Sage, and improving the Sage source code. It runs on the MoinMoin wiki engine, and uses the jsMath control panel plugin.
