Active . . . or not?[edit]

When should we remove people from this category? I've noticed someone here who last edited WikiIndex in 2007! Hoof Heartedtalk2HH 10:28, 2 October 2012 (PDT)

As much as possible, this should be an automated process. To do this by hand is just taking time for no use. Is it possible to automate it? Then it should be updated once in a week and include activities half a year back. Especially those cat markers on the picture file pages are of no use at all. If at all those markers are to be set manually anywhere, than on the user pages. One has to branch it into an automated marker with the same name and a manually set marker 'of outstanding merit' that can be placed by admins only and after discussion.Manorainjan (talk) 10:45, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
