The Hylian Almanac or THA began on August 11, 2009 as the wiki of Zelda-Temple.net. The creator of this wiki is the Webmistress of the Zelda Temple site, and gained wiki experience as a former Bureaucrat at Zelda Wiki.org. Yusei left ZW and created her own wiki in order to provide Zelda fans with an aesthetically differing wiki experience.
