Purpose
This shortcut template is used to show readers here on this WikiIndex wiki site that there is an article page of the same, or similar subject-matter on the external Wikimedia Foundation official blog site (formerly a wiki site).
Usage
- Code
{{SeeWMF.org}}
- Output
- Please see: SeeWMF.org article of the same or similar name or subject on the Wikimedia Foundation official blog site.
Differently named articles
For Wikimedia Foundation articles which have a different pagename to that used here on WikiIndex, use a pipe (|
) within the template code, and add the actual Wikimedia Foundation article name after the pipe. For example, for our article (actually we use a category page) on Wikimedia Foundation projects, Wikimedia Foundation name their corresponding article Our projects:
- Code
{{SeeWMF.org|Our projects}}
- Output
- Please see: Our projects article of the same or similar name or subject on the Wikimedia Foundation official blog site.
