'''Trendpedia''' was an open-editable [[wiki]] encyclopedia of things related to the {{tag|internet}} and current events.  Originally created on {{tag|ElWiki}}, it was meant to be very comprehensive and covering many things not notable enough for [[:Category:Wikipedia|Wikipedia]].  Sadly, this wiki became heavily {{tag|spammed}}, and has been {{tag|dead}} since 2008.
'''Trendpedia''' is an encyclopedia of interesting happenings like {{tag|fads}}, [[memes]], {{tag|drama}}, current {{tag|events}}, as well as things related to the {{tag|internet}} and {{tag|computers}}.  It includes things that are popular during the present that may not be {{tag|popular}} forever (e.g. Habbo Hotel).  It is to be accurate while also being entertaining.  The website is a wiki that allows any visitor to freely edit its content.  


Unlike Wikipedia, Trendpedia allows research you did yourself and things that wouldn't pass its notability requirements. Trendpedia also does not try to be neutral point of view, but instead multi-point of view.
