The Anti-Wikia Alliance (AWA) is a community of wiki editors and administrators who have had negative experiences with Wikia, and want to help wikis and their communities who have have chosen to leave the hosting provider. Anti-Wikia Alliance is hosted by the British wiki farm ShoutWiki, and, naturally, uses the MediaWiki software. The AWA wiki has a page dedicated to listing wikis who moved from Wikia successfully, and another page listing failed forks.
