The Virtual Front Porch, also known as Virtual Front Porch, was a wiki project that was mirrored on two domains:

  • JABI.com (Just Another Bright Idea, pronounced 'JAB eye')
  • Jesusaves.com[1]

The aim or claim is to take the traditional concept of family and people in the United States of America meeting on a front porch to another, supposedly higher, level in the frame of digital information exchange by means of a wiki structure. The inclination is clearly Christian with a strong emphasis on autonomy in the meaning of self-sufficiency versus dependence from state.

The Project 'Virtual Front Porch' website seemed to be founded in 1995, and turned into a wiki more recently in around 2014.[2]
