LocalWiki, also stylised localwiki, is a grassroots effort to collect, share and open the world's local knowledge.
Each city has a page on LocalWiki with a map, a page that typically links to further pages on LocalWiki about local news, local history, lost pets, etc.
LocalWiki began as Davis Wiki, and expanded to other communities. LocalWiki had a global launch in 2015, adding several communities and multiple languages.
