The [[Template:Sandbox heading]] is supposedly there for new [[user]]s to experiment with [[edit]]ing – yet it is '''edit protected''' – to even registered and well-established [[WikiIndex]] users such as myself! Surely this isn't correct. Can the edit protect be lifted for all – maybe include it in a special [[Special:Categories|category]] for potentially high [[vandal]]ism, where it can be 'watched' by all regular [[:Category:Active contributors to this wiki|users]] and [[:Category:Active administrators of this wiki|admins]], and any obvious [[spam]] be deleted or alerted to the [[sysop|admins]].
