'''Donkey Kong Wiki''' was an encyclopedia about the ''Donkey Kong'' series of {{tag|Video games|games}} by {{tag|Nintendo}}. It was [[Forked Wikia wikis|forked from]] {{tag|Ex-Wikia|Wikia}} to an independent hosting in October 2010, following controversy regarding platform's mandatory change to the "Oasis" skin.
 
The wiki quickly fell into a state of dormancy, and largely remained inactive throughout the next few years. As plenty of content was in [[Super Mario Wiki]]'s scope of coverage (and the wikis used to take parts from one another), the idea of a content merge was brought up by the hoster to a community consensus. Content was finally merged in November 2019 and the wiki shut down, with the domain serving to redirect to equivalent articles on Super Mario Wiki.
