- Please see: SeeMW.org article of the same or similar name or subject on the MediaWiki.org wiki site.
Purpose
This WMF shortcut template is used to show readers here on this WikiIndex wiki site that there is an article page of the same, or similar subject-matter on the MediaWiki.org wiki engine wiki site.
Usage
- Code
{{SeeMW.org}}
- Output
- Please see: SeeMW.org article of the same or similar name or subject on the MediaWiki.org wiki site.
Differently named articles
For MediaWiki.org articles which have a different pagename to that used here on WikiIndex, use a pipe (|
) within the template code, and add the actual MediaWiki.org article name after the pipe. For example, for our article on wiki farms (actually ours is a category page), the MediaWiki.org site name their corresponding article Project:WikiFarm:
- Code
{{SeeMW.org|Project:WikiFarm}}
- Output
- Please see: Project:WikiFarm article of the same or similar name or subject on the MediaWiki.org wiki site.
