This VisualWorks has been dead (offline) since late 2007.
Wiki size: unknown size

The former VisualWorks wiki site was about VisualWorks programming environment (Smalltalk-80). VisualWorks wiki was one of many wiki sites hosted by the Computer Science faculty of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).[1]

VisualWorks Smalltalk: Scene and not herd! VisualWorks is a descendent of the original Smalltalk-80 from the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center, now a product of Cincom. It's a great programming environment! The environment continues to evolve, with version 7.4 having been released in the winter of 2005.

This site hosts informal discussions of VisualWorks, information on various packages for VisualWorks sold by Cincom or others, as well as free packages. There is a Non-Commercial version of VisualWorks and online documentation available for immediate download from Cincom.

Have a question about VisualWorks? You can place questions or topics for discussion by editing this site. Just browse for a likely page and edit it, adding your question (for help editing, see below). In a few days, your question should be answered. You can also join the conversation on the Usenet group comp.lang.smalltalk, where VisualWorks and all things Smalltalk are open for discussion.

Updates VisualWorks updates and patches are available at www.CincomSmalltalk.com/CincomSmalltalkWiki/VisualWorks+Patches
