The EditThis.info management and [[:Category:Meta|meta]] wiki is found at [[EditThis.info]].  However, it was discovered during September 2012, it became heavily [[:Category:Spammed|spammed]], and seemingly [[:Category:Needs love|neglected]].  As of December 2022, the site remains somewhat abandoned by their [[Sysop|system administrators]].  Furthermore, their MediaWiki software is old and outdated; still running {{Mw|Release notes/1.15|version 1.15.1}} ([[EditThis.info:Special:Version|r10]]).  That being said, however, EditThis.info is still an active and fully-functioning [[wiki farm]] (albeit with the occasional {{Cambridge-Dictionary|hiccup}} in service), and as such, can still be recommended for users needing a basic wiki, who are competent with MediaWiki software, and have no desire for the latest 'bells and whistles' offered by the very latest versions of MediaWiki.  Furthermore, enhanced log-in safety is provided due to all pages being protected by utilising '{{Cambridge-Dictionary|http}}s' {{Cambridge-Dictionary|ssl|SSL}}, or 'Secure Sockets Layer' secure connection protocol URLs as certified by Let's Encrypt in the USA.

 

When the EditThis.info [[wiki farm]] was originally [[:Category:Wiki age|founded]], hosted wiki sites were located at a sub-{{Cambridge-Dictionary|domain}} of the main EditThis.info {{Cambridge-Dictionary|url|URL}}, as in: <tt>WikiSiteName.EditThis.info</tt>.  As an example, for [[Vitripedia]], its URL was <tt>Vitripedia.EditThis.info</tt>.  However, sometime in 2020, the URL {{Cambridge-Dictionary|schema}} for hosted wikis changed; from a sub-domain to effectively a sub-page.  For Vitripedia, its URL changed to <tt>EditThis.info/vitripedia</tt>.
