- Usage
This housekeeping template is meant for tagging any external links which are unreachable (dead, 404 error, redirect to domain registration or search engine site, etc, and hopefully archived). Instead of simply deleting said link, tag the dead link by adding {{DeadEL}}
at the end of the URL, so that others may be prompted to search any online archives such as the Internet Archive WaybackMachine at Archive.org or similar such as Archive Today at archive.is.
Usage of this tag will automatically include said article (or category) into category: FindDeadURLs.
