[[Template: Wiki boilerplate]] is the generic boilerplate [[Special:Templates|template]] used for creating a standardised [[:Category:Infobox template|infobox]] for [[article]]s about [[What is a Wiki|wiki SITES]] here on WikiIndex.  It is suitable for {{tag|All|<u>'''all'''</u> wiki site articles}}, and is applicable to act as a guide for most [[:Category:Wiki engine|wiki engine]] schemas, including [[:Category:MediaWiki|MediaWiki]].  For Fandom-specific wiki articles powered by [[:Category:Wikia|Wikia (Fandom)]], use: [[template: Wikia boilerplate]] (currently only available in [[:Category:Wiki English|English]]).  For wiki sites powered by all other wiki engines, please amend the requested field answers to their best fit.  This [[:Category:Boilerplate|boilerplate]] template has been manually [[:Category:Translation|translated]] from this specific boilerplate into a few other selected [[:Category:Wiki language|wiki languages]] as listed at the bottom of this page, based on standard MediaWiki terminology.  Please make any changes or updates as required, and please create a new boilerplate (including the below [[red link]]s) in a different language if desired.  It should be noted, for ALL MediaWiki sites (apart from early software versions), all non-English wiki sites will automatically translate all [[Special:SpecialPages|SpecialPages]] standard English URLs into the actual language as used on said non-English wiki site.  All infobox external URLs <u>must</u> start with <tt>http://</tt> or <tt>https://</tt>, whereas external link URLs within the {{Cambridge-Dictionary|prose}} description may also use any existing [[interwiki]] link for external sites, along with conventional 'internal' [[wikilink]]s.
