Description

WikiCODOPN is a new project (starting May 2007) that will use proposed legislation described in House Bill H.R. 808 as a blue print, and attempt to create a model of a "Regional Office" of the DoPN for the Rocky Mountain region.

Because interpersonal violence is now costing the U.S. over $300 Billion dollars annually (according to research by the World Health Organization), the proposed Department of Peace and Nonviolence (at a cost of $8-10 Billion) will only need to reduce levels of domestic violence by 3% to provide a net benefit to U.S. citizens.
