::: I would say, the [[Special:Version|MediaWiki software]] should be upgraded soon (from 1.10.1 which is absolutely outdated to [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki 1.15.5]), maybe that will do, there is also an extension that prevents creating doppelganger accounts (it seems to be [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:AntiSpoof "AntiSpoof"]). Should we proactively block all accounts, of active people here, that fit the doppelganger pattern? ~~ MarkDilley

If you're talking about users with names like EIassint or MarkDiIley then yes, they are deliberately trying to cause disruption by pretending to be admins. I'm not sure who else might fit the "doppelganger pattern" Elassint, 09 24 2010

I would say, the MediaWiki software should be upgraded soon (from 1.10.1 which is absolutely outdated to 1.15.5), maybe that will do, there is also an extension that prevents creating doppelganger accounts (it seems to be "AntiSpoof"). Best --Wolf | talk 09:13, 25 September 2010 (PDT)
