:::FWIW, my alma mater went with GLBTI. Based on Google search results, ''queer'' results in the most links, followed by ''LGBT'', ''LGBTQ'', and ''GLBTI''. Of course, popularity is not the only determining factor. Still, if we pick a less popular name for the category, the more likely it is that a visitor here will unintentionally put their new wiki into the "wrong" category. This is not insurmountable, but it's a consideration. --[[User:MarvelZuvembie|MarvelZuvembie]] 13:06, 16 December 2010 (PST)

FWIW, my alma mater went with GLBTI. Based on Google search results, queer results in the most links, followed by LGBT, LGBTQ, and GLBTI. Of course, popularity is not the only determining factor. Still, if we pick a less popular name for the category, the more likely it is that a visitor here will unintentionally put their new wiki into the "wrong" category. This is not insurmountable, but it's a consideration. --MarvelZuvembie 13:06, 16 December 2010 (PST)
