:::::::As our esteemed leader (Mark) has replied, IP editing is fine here. <u>However</u>, if you do have a dynamic IP, and you keep on editing the same article which has a <cough>disagreement</cough>, then that changing identity may raise suspicions - which is why it is preferable to register with a username. :)<br>And my fixation for 12 is based purely on the help given in the size template - maybe I'm being thick, but I still can not definitavly <sp?> get my head around WikiFactor :( Kind regards, Hoof Hearted 04:38, 27 September 2011 (PDT) | :::::::As our esteemed leader (Mark) has replied, IP editing is fine here. <u>However</u>, if you do have a dynamic IP, and you keep on editing the same article which has a <cough>disagreement</cough>, then that changing identity may raise suspicions - which is why it is preferable to register with a username. :)<br>And my fixation for 12 is based purely on the help given in the size template - maybe I'm being thick, but I still can not definitavly <sp?> get my head around WikiFactor :( Kind regards, Hoof Hearted 04:38, 27 September 2011 (PDT)
:::::::::I am the same person as the other IP's.
:::::::::I'll try again on the calculation. If a wiki has 1,000 or more views views on its first page less than 2,000 on its second then it has a wiki factor of one. If it has 2,000 or more views on it's second page but less than 3,000 on its third page then it has a wiki factor of two. If it has more than 3,000 views on its third page but less than 4,000 on its fourth page page then it has a wiki factor of three. And so on.
:::::::::In the example given the wiki has more then 12,000 views on its twelfth page but less than 13,000 in its thirteenth. The number "12" refers to that example and only to that example.
:::::::::I honestly can't think of a simpler way of explaining it.--83.42.114.79 06:26, 27 September 2011 (PDT)
Anonymous editing is fine here. WikiFactor is a wee bit confusing till you get your head wrapped around it. :-) Thanks to the both of you for working productively to figure stuff out here.
