'''Psiram''' is a closed wiki taking a sceptical look at pseudoscience, CAM and New Age believes. A Blog and a forum are also offered. Most of the articles are written in german.  All authors use anonymous nicknames, the operator is unknown.  The anonymity is explained with negative experiences by identifyable critics of New Age beliefs.[http://psiram.com/en/index.php/Psiram:General_disclaimer]

In July 2012 the platform formerly known as Esowatch was renamed into Psiram.

==History==
Esowatch was founded in {{Tag|FoundedIn2007|2007}}.

== Public reception ==
The first major public reception was 2008 in the German online magazine [http://heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/27/27909/1.html Telepolis]. Psiram's article on Prahlad Jani was referenced in the science blog [http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2010/05/physiology_explains_it_all.php Pharyngula], and their article on night milk crystals was referenced by the [http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/oct/18/nocturnal-milk-night-insomnia-sleep Guardian].

A German court based a decision partly on arguments collected by Esowatch [http://www.rechtsprechung.saarland.de/cgi-bin/rechtsprechung/document.py?Gericht=sl&nr=2993]. Further, data from Esowatch was used in an inquiry in the Austrian parliament [http://www.parlament.gv.at/PAKT/VHG/XXIV/J/J_06639/fnameorig_197085.html].

==Criticism==
Esowatch met harsh reactions on New Age blogs.
