Mises Wiki is the global repository of classical-liberal thought that anyone can edit. This wiki project is dedicated to the advancement of the Austrian School of Economics and related thought. Jeffrey Tucker was one of its founders, but he has been mostly inactive since 2011, aside from updating his own biography and making a few minor edits here and there.[1] As of 2014, the most senior active sysop was Pestergaines, aka Peter Sidor. Nathan Larson assisted software engineer David Veksler with wiki system administration from October 2012 to January 2014. As of August 2014, plans were in the works to migrate Mises Wiki to Liberty.Me and rebrand it as Liberty Wiki sponsored by the Bastiat Institute, but the plans ultimately did not go anywhere.
In 2015, the Mises Institute unveiled a redesign of its website that removed links to the wiki from the main page and removed the wiki's pages from searches. It was believed that the Mises Institute would neither maintain nor destroy the wiki.
In mid-2018, creation of new accounts was disabled.
