This housekeeping template can be used to tag any contentious or disputed statement within an article or category which requires clarification by seeking the need for verification by way of an external citation. It will then hopefully prompt other editors to add the required information as requested.
- Usage
Simply highlight {{Fact}}
, then copy (Ctrl-c, or ⌘-c on your keyboard) and paste (Ctrl-v or ⌘-v) it immediately after the last offending word, sentence, phase, or paragraph in question, immediately after any punctuation, so that others may be prompted to search elsewhere for supporting material. Usage of this tag will automatically include said article (or category) into category: Find missing citations.
