The former Wikia Search wiki, also known as Search Wikia Labs, was to accompany the development of the Wikia search engine, an open source search engine with user-editable search results.
The search index was being created using the Wikiasari software, which was then in a beta version.

Its original URL, Search.Wikia.com – then, and now redirects to Wikianswers.
