WikiIndex:Administration procedureproposal: let's make regular WikiIndex contributors (that use real names) admins.

Discussion questions

How does this happen? Who decides? Do we need a consensus of existing admins? Can one of us just decide without the others? Technically how does this work? It takes another level up above admin to make an admin, yes?

Technically, anyone with Bureaucrat privileges (currently that's Ted, Ray, Mark, and John) just needs to go to Special:UserRights to admin somebody, mark them a bot, or make them a Bureaucrat as well. — User:Sean Fennel@ 23:31, 30 August 2006 (EDT)
