WikiAudio is a free user created encyclopedia and information database pertaining to the art and science of anything audio or sound related. In addition to the typical encyclopedic articles you would expect to read at Wikipedia, WikiAudio also has video tutorials and how-to guides. It runs on the MediaWiki software, but is visually very different with a custom skin. The wiki content is released under either one or both licenses: prior to May 18, 2009, all content was released under the GNU Free Documentation License, since that date, all content is now released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0 Unported licensing agreement. [1]

It has a great feature, it has a 'token system' – when a registed user makes a 'substancial contribution' to the wiki, a site moderator will award tokens to the said editor, which can be redeemed for money-off vouchers in their WikiAudio shop. [2]
