Does the host have the DBA extension for PHP installed? The readme says it'll improve performance.

**Concerning DBA:  If I get {{Mw|Manual:Cache|this page}} right it would be better to have APC rather than DBA.

I have found that on my wiki (and various others) that reCAPTCHA has been "cracked". I now use VisualMathCaptcha which works well (for the moment) -- Carl McBride (talk) 05:27, 11 May 2011 (PDT)
