"Open Circuits is a wiki for sharing open source electronics knowledge, schematics, board layouts, ports and parts libraries. This include open hardware mobile phones, Music Players, atomic microscopes, PC, PDA, and batteries. Please help us to build this resource by submitting your component descriptions, projects, techniques, and PCB footprints."

There are a variety of electronics projects hosted at Open Circuits, including medical electronics, tiny 'computers' ( aka 'computer component', 'processor module', or 'microcontroller module') that are still powerful enough to run Linux, a scanning tunneling microscope, etc.

Not to be confused with the OpenCircuitWiki at http://OpenCircuitDesign.com.

GreatFeature

Open Circuits wiki runs on the popular MediaWiki software (v.1.15.1) which has been modified with a custom skin. However, the colour-coding of its WikiLinks is confusing – all WikiLinks, both valid and 'wanted' are coloured red. External links still remain blue.
