This is a good conversation for thinking about what a wiki is. Let me give it a go, a wiki is a community software that is usually built around a single / limited number topic(s). The topic of WikiIndex is Wiki itself and Wikipedia's topic is to be encyclopedic, so they have rules about what you can put over there.  But the rules are usually pretty easy to figure out.  The draft link is a great place to start, people will step in and help you if you are serious and on the easier side to work with online.
Wonder what it says over at [[WhatIsWiki]]?  Best, [[MarkDilley]]

Deletion I deleted this page as it was about a football club rather than a wiki. This is a wiki about wikis, so porting articles from Wikipedia will probably be inappropriate. Please let me know if I can help you around here. Koavf (talk) 09:47, 31 July 2015 (PDT)

Comment - If I can not refer to Wikipedia, can I set up the page???
Content The problem isn't porting from Wikipedia (that is actually allowed by their copyright) but the fact that this wiki is not about football clubs: it is about other wikis. Why do you want to add this article here? Koavf (talk) 10:18, 31 July 2015 (PDT)

Comment I have seen a couple of football clubs mentioned on here. I just would like to create the article because I think it will be a good article. Wikipedia have not been very accommodating whatsoever. I like the lay out of this site and I hope you can accommodate the article. Your call

Football clubs I'd be interested in seeing the other football club articles that you've mentioned. I am also an editor at Wikipedia and would be happy to help you contribute to that site. Koavf (talk) 10:51, 31 July 2015 (PDT)

Comment - http://wikiindex.org/Doncaster_Rovers_Football_Club_Wiki Wikipedia deleted my page because we hadn't played at level 10 on the football pyramid. Out of order tbh. Can you let me do this article or not?

Deletions This wiki isn't for football clubs so it can't stay here. What you can do is make a draft at Wikipedia. If you need any help with that, I would be happy to assist. Koavf (talk) 15:11, 31 July 2015 (PDT)

Explaining what a wiki is.
