Chat is a feature used by Wikia and Brickimedia as an alternative to IRC.
Chat-specific terms
- Backseating (a.k.a. minimodding) - Used to describe acting like a chat moderator without mod rights
- Chat moderator (a.k.a. mod or CM) - A user with the ability to kick or ban misbehaving users
- Chat jumper - A user who hops around random wiki chats
