The VSTF Wiki is the home wiki for the Volunteer Spam Task Force (VSTF), a group of Wikia users who have volunteered to help keep Wikia clear and free of spam. The task force is made up of users who act in the interests of the greater Wikia community by helping keep Wikia vandal and spam free. To do this, these dedicated Wikians have been given additional user rights that allow them to detect and delete spam, and block offending users.
Walrus joke
Sometime around 2011 - 2012, users started joking about members of the VSTF being walruses, with an unknown source of where the joke came from. Some people (such as Cook Me Plox and sannse) say that the joke came from Club Penguin Wiki during its vandal mob in 2012, although the users at that wiki deny this. Another possible source of the joke is former VSTF member Joeyaa, who was jokingly called a walrus by mostly everyone on Wikia.
