GamePedia, originally stylised as Gamepedia, and formerly known as GamerWiki, was a free, online, video game encyclopedia.

GamePedia was available in two languages: English – GamePedia.org (en), and Italian – GamePedia.org (it).

From an early 'About' page:

Gamepedia is a free content encyclopedia being written collaboratively by contributors from around the world. The site is a wiki, which means that anyone can edit articles, simply by clicking on the edit this page link that appears at the top of each page.

Gamepedia is created by Francesco Lia as a simple folder on GameOver.it site in 2002. Now is online and public for everyone. Keep out from imitations.

Gamepedia was started on September 1, 2004 by founders Francesco Lia, and a few enthusiastic Italian-language collaborators.

All text in Gamepedia, and most images and other content, is covered by the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL). Contributions remain the property of their creators, while the GFDL license ensures the content will remain freely distributable and reproducible (see the copyright notice and the content disclaimer for more information).

Thanks to all people who contribute everyday to create the most comprehensive Games Encyclopedia on World Wide Web.

There is an other WikiIndex of wiki of video games called Gamepedia.com.
