Emilio J. Rodríguez Posada is a Spanish software developer and huge wiki enthusiast. Emilio is a keen Wikipedian who edits under his username pseudonym: emijrp across many wikis – primarily Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) wikis such as Spanish Wikipedia, English Wikipedia, and Wikimedia Wikidata, as well as occasionally here on WikiIndex.

Emilio, born in Spain in 1986 and educated at the University of Cádiz, is also a very keen photographer, and has a very active account on Wikimedia Commons. Perhaps his greatest passion is 'digital preservation' – Emilio became saddened at the large numbers of failing independent wikis, and so created WikiTeam,[1] a part of Archive Team, to preserve the unique human-created data contained within wikis by way of archiving them. The entire data captured by WikiTeam is then uploaded to the Internet Archive WaybackMachine at Archive.org.
