Subcategories here are the different types of Wiki Edit Mode which a wiki can be classified by. "Edit mode" refers to the technical limitations imposed by permissioning systems on the wiki.

The two main types are:

  • OpenEdit - anyone can edit at will, even anonymously
  • LoginToEdit - anyone can edit, but must register and log in each time you visit (no human review of logins)

Others we're using are:

If you are unsure, just use "UnknownEditMode" and someone will add it. :-)

There should be no actual pages in the 'Wiki Edit Mode' category, only subcategories.
