Lately I've been trying to establish some consensus on clear policies here at WikiIndex. I'm not a sysop and have no special powers here other than "reason".

I am a sysop at a few wikis, including Lumeniki and RationalWiki, although I have to admit the latter is just a bit of a misnomer. I would have gone with maybe "PassionateWiki" or perhaps EmphaticWiki, but that's just me. :-) (By the way, a very active bureaucrat from RationalWiki wants you to know that, ""RationalWiki has about 3,197 registered users, of which 359 (or 11.23%) have Sysops rights, which are awarded very liberally by the bureaucrats." from RationalWiki Nx 09:07, 4 September 2009 (EDT)" I (Lumenos) tried to let them edit my user page here but apparently I am not able to lower the moral force field, protecting it. However I received permission to quote this particular bureaucrat and for that I am grateful. It might also be worth noting that the site became unavailable a few days after my arrival. A coincidence? Perhaps.)

Lumeniki gets a little more in-depth on the serious subjects. Here is my user page at Lumeniki. Using advanced cloaking techniques, wandalism is nearly unheard of. There is just this one ***hole who keeps mixing all this weird kooky stuff in with our serious philosophy and backyard solar steam electricity generation information.

How to contact Lumenos

I should be reachable eventually through the following ways:

  • "Privately":
    • Through this MediaWiki email function of Wikipedia or my wikis email (that goes to my "private" email address, which I plan to keep "using forevar" although I don't check this for months at a time unless I am expecting something).
    • My user account with the name Lumenos is on all of the following wikis/forums and should be connected to my "disposable" email address (to prevent spam) which I often check when I sign up for a new forum, wiki or something: Liberapedia, WikiSynergy, WikiIndex, Encyclopediadramatica (warning this site rumored to contain or link to browser exploits or stenographically hidden child porn), BioPod forum. (Lumenos 01:38, 31 August 2009 (EDT) Check here for more recent information of where I am on the Internet.)
      • These should be back online soon: RationalWiki, RationalWikiWiki, or the RationalWiki forum.
      • (Note you can find this email function by going to my user page and looking in the toolbox, in the left column.)
  • Real-time communication:
    • I prefer a chat room that includes voice chat, so long as these do not have increased security risks.
