SnoWiki was a community of dedicated freeriders who partake in most winter sport varieties of extreme sports – such as skiing and snowboarding. We have decided to build an online lifestyle portal for people just like us. SnoWiki.org is originally based out of Rochester, NY, so we have enhanced features for Western NY vicinity. These "local" features will be applied worldwide after community compiling of topics.
SnoWiki was orginally hosted on an independent site at the 'SnoWiki.org' domain, and used the MediaWiki software. The site has now moved to Wikia as a lifestyle wiki.
