The Star Wars Fanon Wiki, also called SWFanon and SWF, is a wiki hosted by Wikia that provides users a venue to write fictional stories set in the Star Wars universe with limited restrictions. Founded by Neomessiah in 2005, the purpose of the Star Wars Fanon Wiki is to allow creative Star Wars fans to publish and document their own fanon articles and stories without consequences, unlike Wookieepedia which is intended to document only canon and official information from the Star Wars Saga.

Users, along with the ability to write their own stories, have the option of reading material by other users. They can also suggest changes or even edit the article to improve it, although the wiki's editing policy forbids edits without permission unless it is to revert vandalism or correct spelling, grammar and other mechanical-related edits.

Although the main Star Wars Fanon Wiki is in English, the project as a whole is multi-lingual, with other wikis existing for the same purpose in other languages.
