 As of November 2016, the Referata [[developer]]s and other [[staff]] appear to have at least partially [[:Category:GoalAbandoned|abandoned]] this 'home' {{tag|meta}} wiki site.  The feature requests page has dozens of requests that have seemingly been ignored, and the recent changes list is mostly full of new account creations.  It seems like the site has become just a [[:Category:Dormant|dormant]] host for individual [[WhatIsWiki|wikis]].

+As of April 2019, the entire wiki farm is down, only displaying an "Internal Server Error" and a fatal 500 error when attempting to access the Meta-Wiki or any other wiki hosted by the wikifarm. Prior to the farm going down, it appeared that at least a portion of the backend code had been compromised, with the "Hosted by Referata" advertisement/logo link at the bottom right of all pages replaced by spam.
