Wikis about places are fun for communities to use and deepen the community. These are generally *very local*. Case in point, at the DavisWiki, there was created a guide to locations in the city where there used to be a telephone booth. Fun local history!

You live someplace. A civic wiki is a wiki about that place.

Except that the bulk of the listings in WikiIndex are Wikia, etc. projects. By restricting this listing to civic wikis that have their own domains, I hope to exclude most of those.
